The Hangar 9 Carbon Cub 15cc ARF (HAN5065) is a 1/5 scale giant scale RC plane built for experienced fixed-wing pilots who want classic Cub character with serious performance. Spanning 90 inches (228 cm) and based on the Cub Crafters Carbon Cub, this almost-ready-to-fly model captures the look and flying qualities of the full-size aircraft in an all-wood, laser-cut airframe finished in authentic Cub Yellow, Black, and Silver UltraCote film. With a flying weight of around 11.4 lb and a light wing loading of 22.4 oz/sq in, it's capable of impressive short takeoffs and landings — and with functional flaps, shock-absorbing main gear, and tundra-style wheels, it handles grass strips well. The two-piece plug-in wing and quick-connect struts make transporting and assembling this large RC aircraft straightforward at the field.
