The Seagull Models L-4 Grasshopper (SEA325) is a 1/5 scale ARF RC plane with a 90-inch wingspan, modelling the WWII military observation version of the Piper J-3 Cub. With its gentle, stable flight characteristics, it suits experienced beginners moving on from a basic trainer right through to seasoned scale flyers who want an easy everyday warbird. The Grasshopper is built from balsa and plywood for a light but durable airframe, and arrives almost ready to fly with most of the build work already done at the factory. It is also an IMAA legal warbird, so you can fly it with confidence at scale and warbird meets. Powered by a 20cc-class glow or petrol engine, this RC aircraft is a relaxed, scale-detailed flyer that's quick to assemble and forgiving in the air.
