The E-flite EFL18550 F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m is a Bind-N-Fly Basic RC warbird recreating the iconic WWII US Navy fighter in an all-blue factory paint scheme, aimed at intermediate RC pilots ready to step into scale warbird flying. With a 1,220mm (48-inch) wingspan and composite-reinforced EPO construction, this RC plane strikes a strong balance between scale realism and sport performance. The BNF Basic format means the airframe, receiver, ESC, motor, and servos are all factory-installed — you just need a compatible Spektrum DSMX transmitter and a LiPo battery to get airborne. AS3X technology provides gyro-based stabilisation that smooths out turbulence and wind, while the optional SAFE Select mode offers flight envelope protection that helps less confident pilots avoid orientation errors. The power system accepts both 3S and 4S LiPo batteries, giving you a choice between relaxed scale flying on 3S or quicker, more aerobatic performance on 4S.
