The Seagull Models Classic Ugly Stick (SEA255W) is a 180cm wingspan ARTF RC sport aerobat aircraft built for intermediate and advanced pilots. This high-wing aeroplane carries on a design that's been a favourite in the RC plane hobby for decades, balancing easy, predictable handling with the agility to fly sport aerobatics. The airframe is built from balsa and balsa plywood with veneer reinforcement, giving it more strength than a typical ARTF while keeping the flying weight down to around 3.5kg. It comes covered and trimmed in genuine Oracover with pre-cut decals, so the finishing work is largely done for you. Power options are flexible: this Ugly Stick RC plane will fly on a 10-15cc gasoline engine, a .61-.75 two-stroke or .82-.91 four-stroke glow engine, or electric power using the included EP conversion. Much of the assembly is done already, with pre-made pushrods, a fitted motor mount and pre-installed pinned hinges, with a typical build time of 10 to 15 hours.
